Kellie Finlay Legal is a boutique plaintiff personal injury firm located in Toowong. We are a growing law firm and now have an opportunity for an experienced Lawyer to join the team in either a part time or full time capacity.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with senior solicitors and manage a varied portfolio of WorkCover, CTP and Public Liability matters and represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and trials.

We are open to both part time or full time applicants.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Management of personal injury files to resolution;
  • Drafting legal documents and correspondence, including Claim Forms, submissions, and settlement documents;
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, counsel, medical professionals, and other stakeholders;
  • Attending settlement conferences and mediations;
  • Conducting legal research and preparing advices as required.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Have at least 2 years post admission experience OR alternatively we will consider candidates with significant experience in claims management / paralegal roles within personal injury law;
  • Manage client expectations with professionalism and empathy;
  • Have a high level of attention to detail and an organised, methodical approach to file management;
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
