The Riverina Regional Library (RRL) is a large library service based in Wagga Wagga – a thriving regional city that offers diverse lifestyle choices through a broad range of cultural, sporting, educational, housing and retail choices.

Established in 1978, RRL provides centralised library services to 22 libraries in 11 Council areas, as well as a Mobile Library that visits 18 communities.

The Mobile Library is housed in Wagga Wagga and the role enables a great work-life balance.

Mobile Library Operator (Full-Time)

The Mobile Library Operator fulfils a vital role in many small communities throughout the RRL region by supporting access to resources and developing a culture of literacy. This role has a strong focus on quality customer service and requires a Heavy Combination drivers' licence.

Responsibilities include the coordination of the maintenance to the Mobile Library vehicle, provision of quality customer service, circulation of library materials using the Library Management System, management of the Mobile Library collection including stock-taking and weeding, adherence to WHS and other safety standards and policies.

The position offers a weekly salary in the range of $1,349.60 to $1,538.50 penalty rates
