We are seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to lead a small team of technicians, ensuring the safety and quality of work is of the highest standard.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of field operations, including service, repair, and general service provision enquiries from customers. The primary responsibility is to guarantee that customer demands are fully investigated and that solutions are provided that benefit both the customer and our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and developing new customer contacts
  • Scheduling and allocating work orders for the Field Service team
  • Roster management, review and approval of timesheets
  • Effectively planning labour to ensure productivity targets are achieved
  • Promoting a continuous improvement approach to all areas of responsibility
  • Provide technical support for the Field Service team
  • Ensuring a safe work environment is maintained at all times

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Trade certified mechanic/electrician with significant post-trade experience with CAT equipment
  • Strong people management, mentoring and leadership capabilities
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize conflicting priorities and deadlines
  • Advanced stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships
  • Highly developed communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal)
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills (including Microsoft Office)
