We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Programs Officer - Systems to help shape the future of our library services. In this pivotal role, you’ll support the delivery of accessible, responsive, and innovative programs.
- Permanent, full-time position (35 hours per week).
- Remuneration package of $2,582.98 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $3,099.58 gross per fortnight + superannuation (12%).

**As the Programs Officer - Systems, you will**:
- Maintain and enhance our library app - from usability to promotions.
- Support and collaborate with our Systems Officer and IT teams to ensure all digital services (hardware & software) run seamlessly.
- Troubleshoot and maintain Agile Library Service technology to keep us mobile and connected.
- Deliver engaging programs with a focus on digital literacy and inclusion.
- Research and trial new tech to improve the customer experience - your insights will help shape future service delivery.
- Keep our website accessible, up-to-date, and user-friendly.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for digital processes and systems.
- Participate in circulation desk shifts and actively engage in team planning and collaboration.
- Deliver Outreach Services as required, including the delivery of programs and events for children, families and schools.
**As the successful applicant, you will have**:
- Relevant qualifications in library services or previous experience in library systems support and library-related technology.
- A strong understanding of library systems (e.g., RFID, LMS, eLibrary platforms).
- Confident with app configuration, website maintenance, and general IT troubleshooting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, manage time, and work both independently and in a team.
- Commitment to outstanding customer service, continuous improvement, and adaptability.
- Flexibility to work weekends as required.
