The Role

CALLIE is a boutique Communications and Public Relations agency with a reputation in the market for excellence in advisory, backed by a trusted and talented team.

Our agency is currently seeking a Communications and PR Manager, to join our team. The role is a 12-month maternity contract with the potential of permanency for the right individual that best reflects the CALLIE values and approach to working.

Responsibilities

·      Work alongside the Directors and team to support clients across a range of sectors.

·      Proactively manage client accounts, working collaboratively with team, partners and stakeholders to deliver high quality communication services and advisory.

·      Produce communication and PR materials including proposals, strategies, media releases, stakeholder communications and more.

·      Foster and build media relationships, staying informed on the evolving media landscape.

·      Client revenue management and reconciliation of project budgets and finances.

·      Support and contribute to business development.

·      Be a positive cultural presence, operating with good energy and big heart to achieve great outcomes and feel rewarded in your role.

Required Capabilities and Attributes

·      Exceptional strategic communication writing that complements a range of sectors (i.e. corporate, lifestyle, education, health, government and more).

·      Well-versed in media and influencer relations with existing connections.

·      Highly organised, detail orientated and efficient in the delivery of clear, regular and consistent communications.

·      Ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities and deadlines to deliver best practice client account management, autonomously.

·      Confident supporting clients in the event of a reputational or issues related matter.

·      An understanding of partnerships, sponsorships, paid media and integrated communications.

·      A self-starter and proactive and creative thinker with a positive attitude.

Qualifications and Experience

·      At least 5 years plus experience in a Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing or similar role.

·      Agency experience desirable.

·      Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Media, Marketing or related field.
