We're seeking an experienced
Project Engineer - Gantries
with strong expertise in
structural steel fabrication and installation
, ideally within brownfield environments. You'll bring hands-on knowledge of structural steel fabrication, QA oversight, and critical hold points, combined with proven experience installing gantry structures. A strong collaborator, you'll work closely with civil and structural counterparts to ensure seamless project delivery, while applying your broad, practical understanding of structural steel beyond gantries alone. About The Role
- Coordinate and manage design, procurement, and construction activities to deliver works safely, on time, and within budget.
- Oversee quality, commercial, and contract compliance, including variations, procurement systems, and cost forecasting.
- Support construction delivery through technical reviews, development of construction documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, driving capability development, performance, and effective collaboration across teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and community stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and high standards of performance.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Civil) or its equivalent.
- Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure constructions projects for state authorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Current C-Class Driver's License.
