Project Engineer

Are you an experienced Engineer with a passion for construction and environmental engineering? Our client is a market leader in their industry and they are currently seeking a Senior Construction Engineer to join them. As the Senior Construction Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that stormwater treatment and flood prevention infrastructure assets meet the organisation's high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site inspections and make real-time engineering and vegetation decisions
- Collaborate with Construction & Project Engineers to resolve field-based issues
- Provide input on the suitability of Site Environmental Management Plans
- Contribute to project management, including financial aspects and cost options
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental/Civil Engineering
- Experience in Environmental, Geotechnical, Vegetation, SEMP's, and/or Civil Engineering projects
- Previous experience in the Land Development industry, preferably within Government entities
- Strong decision-making skills for large-scale site-based projects
- Proficiency in interpersonal and negotiation abilities
- Leadership capabilities and the ability to support fellow team members
- Health, Safety & Environment mindset for active construction sites
- Industry White Card and Victorian Drivers Licence required
