SEDA College (Victoria) is the leader of applied learning for Year 11 & 12 students. Our students will receive a tailored career plan to develop key employability and life skills for a successful future. SEDA College has a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and motivated Education Support Manager to join our team located in Camberwell.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Reporting to the 
Assistant Principal – Education
, the 
Education Support Manager
 plays a key leadership role within the College, overseeing the delivery of individualized student learning support and extension programs.

You will lead the 
Education Engagement Team
, and work collaboratively with teaching staff, student support services, and families to ensure each student receives the appropriate academic and personal support to succeed.

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, ideally with geographically dispersed and part-time staff
  • Experience working with young people (16–18 years) in post-compulsory education settings
  • Strong knowledge of learning support strategies, individual learning plans, and differentiated instruction
  • Understanding of the VCE Vocational Major (VM) and VET delivery
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with staff, students, families, and support services
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with NCCD processes, documentation and compliance desirable

Qualifications

  • Teaching qualifications
     and 
    VIT Registration
     (required)
  • Knowledge of VCE VM and VET
     programs
  • Current Driver's Licence

  • valid employee Working with Children Check
     (required for non-teaching applicants)
