What You Will Be Doing:

- Understand business procurement needs, aligning them with organisational goals, strategy, and policy.

- Apply procurement expertise to deliver fit-for-purpose project outcomes.

- Lead significant procurement processes, including strategy development, evaluation and ensuring compliance with the Queensland Procurement Policy and departmental procedures.

- Identify and manage procurement risks, escalating issues as needed.

- Conduct evaluations to ensure value for money and create efficiencies.

- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.

- Prepare high-quality submissions, reports, and presentations.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Promote workplace safety and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.

- Provide leadership and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
