Gameloft Brisbane, part of the global Gameloft family, opened its doors in 2014 and has since delivered hits such as Zombie Anarchy, Ballistic Baseball, My Little Pony: Mane Merge, the multi-award-winning The Oregon Trail, and Carmen Sandiego. In 2022, our studio was recognised as Studio of the Year at the Australian Game Developer Awards (AGDAs).
We play a pivotal role in Queensland's economic landscape, currently employing +100 full-time staff in diverse roles—including programmers, artists, designers, producers, QA, audio specialists, management, administration, and marketing professionals.

Job DescriptionAs a Build and Release Engineer at Gameloft, you'll streamline build pipelines and DevOps practices for game development. This includes standardizing pipelines, optimizing tools for performance and cost efficiency, and integrating technologies like Horde, Kubernetes, and Unreal Engine builds.
QualificationsResponsibilities:
- Leading build pipelines and DevOps for games, enforcing standards and best practices
- Managing game-related packages and artefacts centrally for efficient distribution
- Enhancing game development tools and pipelines for better performance and cost-effectiveness
- Maintaining accurate and accessible documentation for version control systems like Git and Perforce
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in C# and Python, with experience in script for build pipelines
- Understanding of both Powershell & Batch and their usage in WIndows-based systems
- Hands-on experience building and designing CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, Github Actions or Unreal Engine Horde
- Experienced in configuring Unix and Windows based servers
Nice to have:
- Experience using the Unreal Engine Build process
- Experience using cloud-based distributed systems
- Experience in containerization systems (such as Kubernetes or docker)
- Experience in cross-platform Games development
