Job Description

As a Build and Release Engineer at Gameloft, you'll streamline build pipelines and DevOps practices for game development. This includes standardizing pipelines, optimizing tools for performance and cost efficiency, and integrating technologies like Horde, Kubernetes, and Unreal Engine builds.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Leading build pipelines and DevOps for games, enforcing standards and best practices
  • Managing game-related packages and artefacts centrally for efficient distribution
  • Enhancing game development tools and pipelines for better performance and cost-effectiveness
  • Maintaining accurate and accessible documentation for version control systems like Git and Perforce

Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in C# and Python, with experience in script for build pipelines
  • Understanding of both Powershell & Batch and their usage in WIndows-based systems
  • Hands-on experience building and designing CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, Github Actions or Unreal Engine Horde
  • Experienced in configuring Unix and Windows based servers

Nice to have:

  • Experience using the Unreal Engine Build process
  • Experience using cloud-based distributed systems
  • Experience in containerization systems (such as Kubernetes or docker)
  • Experience in cross-platform Games development
