VIDA Roads (formerly Major Road Projects Victoria) is delivering a massive investment in the state's roads. We're delivering major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria while improving the roads people rely on every day.

The West Gate Tunnel Project will give Melbourne a second freeway link between the west and the city - providing a much-needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge and a vital second river crossing.

North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We're also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough.

Road Programs are also delivering dozens of new roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.

Job description:

• 3 years fixed term, VPS5 - $113,022 - $136,747 + super & benefits.

• This role will be located at 180 Lonsdale St.

Join us in building better connections for Victoria by:

• Lead the design and implementation of systems to track data and identify evidence-based insights related to social impact, including local investment with community groups, sporting precincts, trader support initiatives and other metrics that measure benefit to the local areas.

• Design and implement a statewide Power BI dashboard that captures community support and public sentiment metrics across each local government area and suburb, helping to depict how investment relates to areas with high construction impacts.

• Liaise with VIDA Roads C&E delivery teams and other internal stakeholders to identify reporting gaps and proactively implement systems for effective data collection and visualisations and other areas of improvement.

• Using program data analysis and trend identification, assist with the creation of transformative communications strategies to raise public awareness of support initiatives within VIDA Roads and identify opportunities to promote how programs support local communities during major construction.

• Prepare and communicate clear, insightful reports that identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, providing informed advice to guide business decisions, mitigate risk and support briefings to relevant senior stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will primarily be responsible for implementing systems to track data to identify evidence-based insights that promote the positive outcomes of initiatives being delivered to communities while major construction takes place.

This opportunity is a 3 year fixed-term.
