Chef/Cook

About the role

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Chef or Cook to join our team at The Piccadilly Hotel, Kalgoorlie.

You'll play a key part in delivering high-quality, pub meals while maintaining smooth daily kitchen operations.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare high-quality meals and food items for our hotel restaurant and function spaces.
• Preparing meals for onsite shift workers (pre-packed breakfast, crib & main meals)
• Follow recipes and food preparation guidelines to ensure quality, presentation, and consistency across all dishes.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and collaborate with colleagues to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
• Managing prep, ordering, and stock rotation.
• Assisting with menu development and daily specials.
• Leading and supporting kitchen hands as needed.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Chef/Cook in a similar hospitality setting, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and food safety regulations.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work culture.
• Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.

• $75,000–$85,000 salary.
