About the role

Golden Hotels' is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our talented culinary team at our hotel located in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. This is a full-time role where you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and passion for creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standard
  • Assisting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff
  • Ensuring the kitchen adheres to all health, safety and hygiene regulations
  • Collaborating with the team to develop innovative seasonal menus
  • Maintaining a clean, well-organised and efficient kitchen environment
  • Providing excellent customer service to hotel guests

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-quality hospitality environment
  • Excellent knowledge of food preparation, presentation and food safety standards
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills to work efficiently under pressure
  • Passionate about using fresh, high-quality ingredients to create delicious meals
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Relevant culinary qualifications or certification
  • Knowledge of up-to-date food trends
