We're hiring a
Communications Manager (Content & Channels)
to deliver internal communications through compelling communications plans and innovative digital content that drives engagement and impact across our platforms.
We're looking for a skilled storyteller to create high-quality, engaging digital content across multiple platforms. You'll work closely with stakeholders to deliver content that supports strategic goals and builds strong relationships across the business.
This is a unique opportunity to shape how Australia Post communicates with its team members.
This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity.
What you'll deliver with us
- Help develop and deliver on the Communications strategy and devise strategic initiatives and campaigns that will continue to increase engagement and impact with our team members.
- Contribute to the development of the internal content strategy and take a proactive approach to its implementation including the production of high quality written and digital content, leveraging multiple channels to support strategic objectives.
- Proactively identify and leverage story opportunities to develop engaging content using a range of formats to effectively communicate and engage with team members.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a content calendar and effectively manage the end-to-end development of content including planning, production, and distribution, to ensure timely and consistent delivery of strategic and engaging content across channels.
- Support enterprise projects and initiatives through effective delivery of communication plans and campaigns and evaluate activity to optimise future plans using data-driven decision-making
- Encourage the effective use of Microsoft tools such as Viva Engage, Microsoft Teams, Co-pilot, and other initiatives by developing, advising, and delivering communications that enhance leader, team member and stakeholder engagement
About You
You're a seasoned communications, marketing or content professional, ideally with experience in a large, complex and regulated organisation with a geographically dispersed workforce. You have a proven track record in developing, executing and evaluating impactful campaigns and content strategies. Your understanding of reputational risk and current affairs, combined with a natural curiosity about the socio-political landscape, enables you to craft communications that resonate. You're confident in advising and influencing stakeholders at all levels, balancing competing priorities and building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality, strategic content.
You'll also bring
- Understanding of, and ability to implement best practice communication approaches and techniques
- Understanding of eCommerce, postal, logistics, digital and service industries desired, but not essential
- Highly organised and efficient with sound project management and change communications skills to ensure large scale programs are planned, run and evaluated efficiently and consistently
- Ability to use analytics data to help inform future digital campaigns
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and sound presentation capabilities
