Due to rapid growth within Melbourne Building Technology P /L, several exciting opportunities exist for experienced Trades / Building Maintenance person's to join our fast-growing friendly team.

About the role:

Our work is mostly in the Commercial sector and varies from general service, maintenance and repair works, to refurbishment work for our regular clients.

In your role as a Trades/Building Maintenance person you will ideally be an allrounder that can multitask across several disciplines. At the same time aiming to achieve the most efficient outcome possible and deliver an exceptional standard of workmanship, therefore a strong focus on customer service, organizational skills and time management is pivotal.

Specifically, your role will entail:

  • General Carpentry / Building maintenance work at our client's sites.

  • Work autonomously and respond promptly to maintenance requests on existing buildings as instructed.

  • Be professional / forward thinking at all times.

  • Perform works of high quality standard for our clients.

  • Carry out duties with minimal disruption to customers and users.

  • Select and use appropriate equipment safely and sound work practices.

  • Be reliable and punctual.

Skills and experience:

  • Previous experience with operating an in-house paperless platform would be an advantage. (Training will be provided).

  • Previous experience in Carpentry, Plastering, Painting and Tiling.

  • Previous experience in Concreting and Welding would be advantageous.

  • Good people skills.

  • A strong commitment to safety.

  • A 'can do' enthusiastic attitude and reliability.

  • Ability to work unsupervised and be extremely organised.

  • Must have own work vehicle, tools, ladders ect.

  • Must operate your own ABN, with required insurances.

  • Must be trade qualified and / or strong previous experience.
