We're looking for a
Sales Team Lead & Coaching Specialist
to join our growing team This hybrid role is perfect for someone who's not only driven to exceed sales targets, but also deeply invested in the development of others. You'll lead a team of outbound/inbound sales agents, drive performance, and build capability through ongoing coaching, training, and mentoring.
What You'll Do
Team Leadership & Performance Management (50%)
- Lead, support, and motivate a team of sales agents in a high-volume call centre environment.
- Monitor daily KPIs, conversion rates, call quality, and team performance metrics.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, one-on-ones, and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with workforce planning to manage rosters, resource allocation, and call flow optimization.
- Foster a positive, high-energy, and results-oriented team culture.
Sales Coaching & Capability Development (50%)
- Design and deliver coaching sessions, sales workshops, and training programs tailored to team needs.
- Perform live call monitoring and post-call analysis to provide actionable feedback.
- Identify skills gaps and implement individual development plans.
- Partner with leadership to refine sales scripts, objection handling, and product knowledge.
- Stay up to date with sales trends and ensure coaching practices reflect current best practices.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in a sales team lead or coaching/training role within a call centre or telesales environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive accountability and motivation.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation abilities.
- Deep understanding of sales psychology, performance metrics, and coaching methodologies.
- High emotional intelligence and a passion for developing others.
- Tech-savvy: confident using CRM systems, call monitoring tools, and reporting dashboards.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with outbound B2C/B2B sales.
- Formal coaching or training certifications (e.g., Cert IV in Training & Assessment).
