Relationship Manager- Corporate
Moneytech is a rapidly growing, non-bank commercial lending business with a national presence. Moneytech provides a range of working capital products – Debtor Finance, Trade Finance and Term loans, as well as Equipment Finance.
As a Corporate Relationship Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of clients and products, ensuring best-in-class service, careful risk management, and optimal returns for Moneytech. You'll build strong relationships, drive client retention, and actively seek opportunities to cross-sell products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote client retention through strong, sustainable relationships and exceptional service.
- Oversee daily funding requirements with Account Managers, ensuring client needs are met within Moneytech's product and risk frameworks.
- Ensure compliance is up to date (client reporting, post-settlement conditions).
- Monitor client performance and minimize bad debts through close relationships and risk management.
- Identify and convert cross-sell opportunities within your client portfolio.
- Maximize profits through effective fee charging and cross-selling.
- Complete credit submissions for facility variations, including financial and risk assessments.
- Assist with smooth onboarding for new clients.
- Resolve client queries, complaints, or disputes effectively.
- Promote Moneytech's finance products and key attributes versus competitors.
- Participate in projects to deliver new products and services.
- Complete ad hoc tasks as required by senior leaders.
- Seek process improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate AML/KYC processes, including sanction screening and identity verification.
- Complete all compliance training on time.
- Embody Moneytech's core values and code of conduct.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- 2+ years in commercial lending (trade finance, debtor finance, equipment finance, secured property lending, unsecured business lending, overdrafts, lines of credit).
- 2+ years in Relationship Management or customer-facing roles in finance.
- Experience in credit assessment and non-conforming loans.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
- Comfortable with manual processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly adaptable, collaborative, and able to work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
- Valid Australian driver's license and own vehicle for client site visits.
Key Relationships:
- Internal: Operations Managers, Relationship Managers, Account Managers, Credit & Collections, Settlements, Sales, Finance & Treasury.
- External: Corporate customers, key advisors, foreign exchange service providers.
