This is an exciting opportunity to join Sodexo as a Procurement Relationship Manager.

In this full-time, Brisbane-based role, you will be responsible for managing key supplier relationships and contracts to support the procurement needs of the business. The role is pivotal in ensuring Sodexo maintains a healthy, cost-effective supply chain to deliver high-quality services to its clients.

This role has a requirement to travel on the occasion to various sites within the Qld portfolio.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and addressing any performance issues
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure contracts are fulfilled to the expected standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, boost efficiencies and drive cost savings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and source the right suppliers and products
  • Provide expert procurement advice and guidance to support strategic decision making
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform procurement strategies
  • Maintain comprehensive records and reporting on all procurement activities

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience in a procurement or supply chain management role, ideally within the manufacturing, transport or logistics sector
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills to secure favourable supplier contracts
  • Excellent relationship management capabilities to interface with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
  • Proficient in the use of procurement and contract management software
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field is highly regarded
