About the role
We are seeking a positive and experienced Childcare Director to join our passionate team at First Years Early Learning in Elanora, Queensland. The 70 place centre has recently been taken over by a local Gold Coast family who only have one other childcare service. As the Childcare Director, you will lead our early learning centre supported by a family run approach to early childhood. No KPIs. No resource budgets. Simply a focus on ensuring the delivery of exceptional childcare and education to the children in our care.
What you'll be doing
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the overall operations of the early learning centre
- Oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of the educational program, ensuring it aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Manage and mentor a team of educators, fostering a positive, collaborative and professional work environment
- Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations, policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, the local community and other key stakeholders
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve the quality of care and education provided
