We are seeking a positive and experienced Childcare Director to join our passionate team at First Years Early Learning in Elanora, Queensland. The 70 place centre has recently been taken over by a local Gold Coast family who only have one other childcare service. As the Childcare Director, you will lead our early learning centre supported by a family run approach to early childhood. No KPIs. No resource budgets. Simply a focus on ensuring the delivery of exceptional childcare and education to the children in our care.

What you'll be doing

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the overall operations of the early learning centre

Oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of the educational program, ensuring it aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework

Manage and mentor a team of educators, fostering a positive, collaborative and professional work environment

Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations, policies and procedures

Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, the local community and other key stakeholders

Proactively seek opportunities to improve the quality of care and education provided
