About the Role
The position is a critical role in developing, delivering and supporting the detailed foundational design and configuration of Council's Business Systems with business acumen and customer understanding. This position will work in complex functional requirements, providing technical capability, and the ability to work directly with the business developing new needs and capabilities.
Accountable to the Chief Digital and Information Officer, this position will be focused on the needs and aspirations of the Townsville community; growing and managing customer relationships, developing a culture of customer-centricity and personal accountability; and reshaping how we deliver services to maximise value.
This is a banded position that follows a progression / approval process, with higher level experience, leadership, customer engagement at the higher classification/s. This reflects in the Key Accountabilities and is based on an applicant's ability to meet and or progress through Key Requirements.
About You
Our ideal applicant will have demonstrated experience in system development life-cycle management, from the initial concept stage through to a finished product in production, across all stages of the delivery lifecycle, including design, development, testing, documentation, training, handover, and support with strong experience in developing scripting languages, analysers, and reporting tools for the purpose of extraction, transformation and loading data into the enterprise application suite.
