About the Role

As our Electronic Systems Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing project delivery, service responsiveness, and team performance across a wide range of electronic systems — from CCTV and alarms to networks and access control.

You'll step into a leadership position where you can:

  • Build relationships – act as the trusted senior contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a growing technical team fostering collaboration and team success.
  • Provide technical guidance and advice on Electronic Security and Access Control systems (including but not limited to: CCTV, alarms, access control, AV, data cabling, IT networks).
  • Oversee the pricing and installation of electronics work (projects and service jobs), including scope of works, variations, and delivery outcomes.
  • Oversee resource allocation, process improvements, and workflow efficiency
  • Ensure a high standard of communication, both written and verbal, across all levels – internal teams, clients, and stakeholders
  • Manage budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and monitor commercial impacts.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and encourage innovation.
  • Use and maintain job management/HR systems
  • Handle escalations and customer complaints with professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction remains the top priority
  • Support continuous business growth by delivering high-quality service and strong leadership

What You Bring

  • Proven success as a confident, professional leader, with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Strong technical grounding in electronic security systems and IT networks.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including budgeting and resource planning.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to balance costs, quality, and service outcomes.
  • Project management experience, with an eye for detail around scope of works and variations
  • A proactive mindset with the drive to take charge and deliver results.
  • Willingness to travel monthly (project-based)
