**About the role**

As a Business Channel Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in acquiring and retaining customers and market-share and in improving the overall customer experience for Origin Zero’s Business Customers. Reporting to the Business Channel Sales Manager, you will manage and fulfil tender responses for electricity and natural gas quote requests via external Brokers and will manage the ongoing performance of third-party vendors to achieve best service and cost performance. We are looking for a great communicator and relationship/rapport builder who is passionate about finding innovative ways to partner with clients on their journey towards good energy.

**Duties**
- Manage and fulfil tender responses for electricity requests via external brokers
- Respond to and take ownership for enquiries from brokers/consultants and their business customers
- Provide information relating to Origin Energy products and services
- Undertake reporting of sales results to stakeholders to provide competitor pricing and activity feedback
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with brokers and consultants

**Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience in the Energy Industry and be comfortable talking about the market and its products
- Outstanding communicator and relationship/rapport builder
- Demonstrate proven success in previous Sales roles focussed on commercial and industrial clients
- Have experience in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Enjoy working in a high impact and high energy environment
