Job Description
As a Broker Support Officer, you'll be the driving force behind seamless loan processing for our valued Aggregators and Independent Lenders, delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships that position Beyond Bank as their go-to financial partner. You'll own each loan file from lodgement to settlement, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely outcomes while keeping Brokers informed every step of the way. With your deep knowledge of mortgage lending and knack for multitasking, you'll help shape positive lending experiences that inspire trust and advocacy.
In this role, you will
- Proactively identify and deliver tailored solutions for Third-Party lending applications, ensuring customer and Broker needs are met with speed and precision.
- Maintain strong Service Level Agreements by collaborating effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
- Build lasting customer relationships through needs-based advice, driving loyalty and deeper engagement with Beyond Bank.
- Resolve Broker and member concerns swiftly, including escalated complaints, ensuring outcomes exceed expectations.
- Champion customer retention by spotting opportunities to strengthen relationships and promote Beyond Bank's full suite of services.
- Stay sharp with up-to-date product, system, and credit policy knowledge, while confidently navigating complex financial documents and structures.
- Contribute to the success of the Third-Party Broker Channel by achieving conversion, sales, and referral targets.
- Drive continuous improvement by challenging the status quo, sharing expertise, and embracing innovation and change as a collaborative team player.
Qualifications
About you
You will be the go-to expert for Brokers, owning the loan journey from application to settlement while delivering fast, accurate, and customer-focused solutions. With your sharp lending knowledge and relationship-building skills, you'll turn complex scenarios into seamless experiences that strengthen trust in Beyond Bank.
- You'll bring a strong grasp of mortgage lending, credit policies, and compliance, backed by a relevant tertiary qualification and deep knowledge of the National Consumer Credit Act.
- Your sharp attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial documents will ensure every application meets regulatory and policy standards.
- With excellent communication and problem-solving skills, you'll build trusted relationships across Brokers, customers, and internal teams.
- You'll thrive in both independent and team settings, managing time effectively and adapting quickly to new systems and processes.
- Your proactive mindset and commitment to continuous learning will help drive innovation and elevate the Broker experience.
