Speech Pathologist – Early Career Opportunity
Location: Campbelltown, NSW (with opportunity to work across Penrith)
Work Type: Full-time or Part-time
About Us
McCall has been supporting individuals and communities across Western Sydney since the 1950s. We're passionate about providing person-centred care through allied health, supported accommodation, community access, and more. Our interdisciplinary team is collaborative, values-driven, and committed to continuous learning.
About the Role
We're seeking an early-career or recently graduated Speech Pathologist who is passionate about growing their skills and making a real impact. This is a great opportunity to build your caseload in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
You'll work across childhood and adult populations, with the flexibility to focus on the areas that most interest you. While early childhood experience is a plus, it's not essential — we'll support you to develop confidence across both areas.
This role is primarily based in Campbelltown, with the option to also work from our Penrith location as part of a hybrid clinic/community model.
What's on Offer
• Chance to work with an established Organisation who's purpose is to promote the ability of all people under its care
• Flexible caseload across early childhood and adult clients
• Community and clinic-based work in Campbelltown & Penrith areas
• Full-time or part-time options available
• Ongoing mentoring, clinical supervision, and PD budget
• Group-based peer support embedded into your schedule
• Future opportunity to work in our state-of-the-art Community Hub (opening 2026)
• Salary packaging and not-for-profit benefits
• A collaborative team that values growth, learning, and fun
Key Responsibilities
• Assess and treat communication disorders
• Develop and review client-centred therapy plans
• Collaborate with families, carers, and other professionals
• Provide education and resources to client support networks
• Support the use of AAC or communication strategies for non-verbal clients
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting aligned with NDIS standards
About You
• Early career (0–2 years' experience) or new graduate Speech Pathologist
• Eagerness to learn and expand your skills
• Team-focused and proactive in seeking support and collaboration
• Strong communication, time management and documentation skills
• Committed to person-centred, evidence-based practice
• Understanding of the NDIS (preferred but not essential – we will support you to learn)
Essential Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
• Eligible for SPA registration
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• NSW Working with Children Check
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Full Australian Driver's Licence
How to Apply
Please submit:
• A cover letter explaining your interest in this role and how your skills align
• A resume outlining your relevant qualifications and experience
