About The Role:

This role is positioned within RevenueWA. RevenueWA's primary role is in the administration of revenue laws in a fair and efficient manner for the community of Western Australia. This involves the collection of payroll tax, duties, land tax and royalties as well as the payment of various grants and subsidies including the first homeowner grant.

The Manager Business Systems provides expertise and services to support the ongoing management and improvement of revenue systems. The role manages the planning, implementation, review and evaluation of existing systems and projects, and the preparation and delivery of strategies associated with improvement of revenue systems stability and security and ensures the strategies are communicated and progressed through to key stakeholders.

About You:

You will be a people-focused leader with significant experience in the delivery of systems-related initiatives and projects. You will bring to the role your expertise in business analysis and project planning with the ability to develop clear, strategic reports and coordinate inputs from across a wide-range of stakeholders.

Your strong analytical and communication skills in a complex taxation environemnt will be key to your success in the role.

This position operates in the context of Leading Others. This means that you will motivate and enable others to deliver high quality work. This requires a significant shift in thinking from 'doing' to supporting others to 'do good work'; and consideration of present and future needs when allocating time to the team and projects you lead.
