About the Role:
You are the front line of our operational excellence. You'll perform essential routine repairs, handle the preventative maintenance program, and act as our Shift Operator on a rotating basis. This role is about more than just fixing things; it's about ensuring every guest has a seamless, safe, and exceptional stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute timely and quality repairs across all hotel facilities, responding rapidly to work requests and service calls.
- Show initiative—you don't wait to be told. Spot defects, log work, and proactively maintain our equipment and public areas.
- Provide warm, friendly service to guests, quickly addressing their needs, and providing assistance to other departments.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment and operate with a full knowledge of all WH&S guidelines.
- Report urgent or dangerous facility matters directly to management and expertly coordinate with outside trades for complex issues.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven ability in routine maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, general facility upkeep).
- An enthusiastic, service-oriented approach that aligns with our goal to make the connection.
- The ability to work independently, manage your tasks, and log your work accurately.
