Saints Kitchen (Shop 14/83 Saints Rd, Salisbury Plain, SA 5061), a family-friendly cafe and events place is now seeking to fill a critically important Cook role. We offer a convivial work environment and the opportunity to continue developing the skills of an already qualified cook. This is a full time role, and the candidate will be working at least 38 hours a week at Saints Kitchen (Shop 14/83 Saints Rd, Salisbury Plain, SA 5061).

Task & responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision and creativity.

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

- Follow recipe and guideline to maintain consistent quality and presentation.

- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.

- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards to uphold the highest value of sanitation.

- Contribute to menu development and innovative culinary ideas.

Qualification & experience

- Possess excellent relevant post‑secondary qualifications, at least a Hospitality Certificate III level.

- Have at least 1 to 2 years of professional experience since earning your qualifications.

- Are available across the working week including late shifts as may be necessary from time to time.

- Offer proven ability to prioritise, set goals and have the determination to achieve them.

- Possess a thorough understanding of food safety OH&S and HACCP.

- Understand cost control, time management, prioritisation, and cost‑efficient procurement practices.

- Well‑versed in a broad cuisine offer across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and beyond.

- Unrestricted rights to work full‑time in Australia.

About Company

The family‑owned business takes its combined ten years of experience in hospitality and industry to a new, family‑friendly café and event space in the Chapley's new centre, Saints Shopping.
