Job Description
What you do
- Develop an expert understanding of OFX, working hand in hand with key stakeholders and team members throughout the business to deliver key prioritized business outcomes
- Challenge stakeholders to ensure the delivery of valued outcomes, with the goal of building less reports and more artefacts that provide insights that evolve and enhance our business efficiency and effectiveness
- Contribute to the evolution of the Data & Analytics Strategy to ensure alignment of priorities and decision making
- Drive the maturity and evolution of the data model and associated practices to support the future and ongoing needs
- Lead and deliver strategic analytics projects
- Delegation and training of individuals across the business to ensure empowerment, autonomy and professional development while ensuring overall objectives are achieved
- Demonstration of strong leadership skills driving ownership and accountability across the broader team
Qualifications
What you bring
- 8+ years' experience presenting data attributes and analysis to non-technical stakeholders
- Extensive knowledge in SQL and using Looker and Google Cloud Platform
- Experience of building a high functioning analytics teams, with proven ability to recruit high calibre individuals at different levels of experience/expertise and manage them to create an effective team
- Ability to perform data mining, blending large datasets to enhance analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Extensive understanding of all project life cycle aspects
- Knowledge of and significant experience working with Jira and Confluence
- Experience in Fintech / Financial Services is preferred
