Software support, development

We are a business software firm specialising in Microsoft Dynamics, located in Docklands close to Melbourne CBD. We are accessible to public transport. You would need to work on-site in our well-spaced office.

We want someone who may be marketing, customer service or software-focused.

Initially your focus would be on customer support (for software), marketing assistance and learning what we do. You would be initially employed on an ongoing casual basis, most likely for 30 + hours per week, so you are possibly still studying. We hope you develop to be a part of a respected business where you would potentially represent our firm to customers and potential clients as a business consultant, software development consultant or business representative.

About You

You need to be able to communicate in clear English, both spoken and written, and be able to engage with customers and colleagues in a friendly confident and business-like manner. You need to be a logical thinker, good at maths and numbers. And you need to be genuinely comfortable working with people - supporting their software system (often remotely) but possibly on site as well.

Have you used software like this either as a software professional or as an end-user, to analyse data, solve a problem, create a solution, or for example, to create an invoice or an order or to write a report?

About the person:

Have you experience in customer service or sales? Especially involving complex products like phones or computers, or with contracts that need explaining, or luxury products or high-end consumer goods?

Do you see yourself as a professional representing a respected firm who provides Microsoft and other business software?

Do you communicate in clear English - spoken and written?

Are you aware of (or have you used) Google ads or LinkedIn advertising?

Have you experience in or familiarity with business or CRM software, or in using software or systems?

Have you created any software projects yourself or worked with software in general or for recreation? Or have you customised or configured existing software?

What's your educational background? Completed and not completed?

Are you currently studying? Are you studying a Bachelors degree or doing a Masters or a PhD?

Have you a current Australian driver's licence? Do you own or have access to a car?

You also need to be:

• fully covid-vaccinated and have had your booster shots – and keep these up to date.
• in good health and lead a fit and healthy lifestyle
• An Australian citizen or permanent resident or have the right to work at least 30 hours per week
