About the role

Wangaratta 4WD Centre is seeking an experienced Automotive Accessories Fitter to join our dynamic team in Wangaratta, Victoria. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for the fitting and installation of a wide range of 4WD accessories and equipment, ensuring a high-quality finish for our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Skillfully installing a variety of 4WD accessories and equipment, such as bull bars, side steps, roof racks, and suspension upgrades
  2. Undertaking meticulous fault diagnosis and repair work on customer vehicles
  3. Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all clients
  4. Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
  5. Collaborating with the wider team to meet deadlines and deliver projects on time
  6. Identifying opportunities to enhance existing processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as an Automotive Accessories Fitter or similar role, with a strong understanding of 4WD vehicle modifications and accessories
  2. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  3. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  4. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the team
  5. A valid driver's licence and the ability to operate a range of tools and equipment
  6. Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics or a related field would be highly regarded
