Specialist | Full-Time | CommercialJoin the global leader in sustainable energy solutions as a Project Development Manager, driving wind energy projects from concept to financial close across Australia.In this dynamic role, you'll be part of Vestas' Australian Development team, managing early to late-stage wind farm developments. You'll work across land agreements, environmental permitting, grid connection, stakeholder engagement, and financial modelling — helping shape the future of renewable energy. The Project Development Manager will be a key part of the Vestas Australian Development team and will work across multiple early, middle and late-stage wind development projects.The role will ideally be located in Melbourne or Sydney, and will involve travel to project sites across Australia.Vestas Development>Development AUNZ>Deal Execution ResponsibilitiesIdentify, engage and manage environmental and technical consultants, legal advisors and other service providers as required to deliver required work products to advance development activities within target timeframesBuild relationships with host landowners and assist with negotiation and execution of licence, option, and easement agreements to secure land accessEngage with local, state and federal permitting authorities and assist with preparation of environmental impact assessment studies and reports to secure permits for proposed development projectsEngage with NSPs, AEMO, consultants and internal teams to manage grid connection studies and connection application processesAssist with community engagement through development and distribution of collateral, organization of community events, and presentation to stakeholders as requiredDrive the development of technical designs to support land agreements, environmental permitting and financial modelling.
