Moolarben Coal mine is Australia's largest thermal coal producer and has both Underground and Open cut operations producing over 21 million tpa. It has over 800 employees with employees residing in the beautiful Mudgee area, with all the facilities for a fantastic family lifestyle.

Job Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day activities of delivery supervisors to ensure safe, efficient, and productive project execution.
  • Consult with the technical team to review constructability of design proposals and contribute to design risk assessments.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage project delivery risks.
  • Oversee frontline supervisors to maintain construction activities at acceptable risk levels, ensuring proactive investigations and learnings are implemented following any incidents.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure objectives for quality, cost, schedule, and risk management are achieved.

Skills And Experience

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in project delivery or construction management.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management, safety practices, and quality assurance within project environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
  • A proactive and level-headed approach to leading teams and managing contractors.
  • Ability to balance operational demands while maintaining governance and compliance standards.
