About the role

Catering Project is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to work with as part of the sales team to assist in-bound client requests and orders.

The successful candidate will provide follow up support to our existing customer base relating to past orders whilst also encouraging repeat purchase through understanding Catering Project products and current market trends.

What you'll be doing

  • Answering inbound calls & emails regarding customer enquiries such as delivery questions, questions regarding food preparation and the occasional complaint in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify and pursue new sales leads, proactively reaching out to potential customers to promote our catering services.
  • Reporting on key metrics to provide insight into the success rate of outbound marketing efforts & current customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of catered events and functions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our customer service and sales processes

What we're looking for

  • Ideally proven experience in a sales or customer service role within the hospitality or catering industry or management in cafe or restaurant experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and customer-focused attitude.
  • Familiarity with catering operations and industry best practices.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster including early mornings and weekends.
