Lead with purpose. Drive excellence. Make a lasting impact. Join a values-driven Aged Care provider.

About Warrina Homes

Warrina Homes is a leading not-for-profit aged care provider in metropolitan Adelaide, offering both Retirement Village and Residential Aged Care services. Guided by Christian values, we deliver person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice, and independence.

We are proud of our strong reputation, supportive culture, and recent recognition in the BDO FastMovers SA Awards as one of South Australia's fastest-growing organisations. We were also honoured with the 'Elevated Success Award' for achieving the highest percentage of revenue growth. With a holistic approach to care and a focus on innovation, we continue to expand and enhance the services we provide to our community.

Why join us?

At Warrina Homes, every voice matters. As part of our team, you will be empowered to make meaningful decisions that shape resident care and organisational success. We foster a culture built on collaboration, respect, and support - where teamwork is more than a value, it is how we thrive.

Here, your leadership will directly contribute to improving the wellbeing of older Australians while being part of a team that values you as much as it values the community.

The role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager Residential Services to oversee our Residential Aged Care Facilities at Paradise and Campbelltown.

Reporting to the Executive Manager Residential Services, you will provide leadership and direction across all aspects of operations - ensuring quality care, financial sustainability, and compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.

This is a key strategic role where you will inspire and support your teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure resident-focused, person-centred care is consistently delivered to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strong leadership to staff in delivering safe, compassionate, and person-centred care.
  • Driving a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and clinical excellence.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with all legislative requirements.
  • Overseeing clinical and non-clinical compliance, risk management, and the effective and timeous completion of Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) assessments.
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders such as Human Resources, Hospitality Services, and Clinical Quality to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure clinical audit reports are reviewed monthly, and that data is analysed and actions taken as required to ensure compliance.
  • Managing budgets, monitoring performance, and maximising resources.
  • Assist with the management and monitoring of complaints.
  • Complete monthly reports and submit to the Executive Manager Residential Services.
  • Representing Warrina Homes at executive and board levels with confidence and credibility.

About you

This is an exceptional opportunity to join an organisation during an exciting period of growth, where your leadership and strong facilities focus will directly shape services and outcomes for residents and their families.

You are a values-driven leader with resilience and proven success in Aged Care or complex healthcare environments. You bring:

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (postgraduate nursing qualifications desirable).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in senior leadership within Aged Care or complex healthcare settings.
  • Proven expertise in leading and mentoring diverse teams, managing change, and embedding a culture of quality and accountability.
  • In-depth knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, reforms, legislation, funding, and accreditation systems.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience in budget development and monitoring within an Aged Care Service environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with staff, residents, families, and external stakeholders.
  • A customer-first mindset and a track record of driving innovation in service delivery.
  • Valid Australian working rights, SA Driver's Licence, current police clearance (or willing to obtain), and recommended vaccinations.

What we offer

  • Attractive remuneration with access to salary packaging (up to $15,899 for living expenses and $2,650 for meals/entertainment).
  • Access to novated leasing.
  • Dedicated laptop and mobile phone to support you in your role.
  • The opportunity to directly impact the lives of older people in your community.
  • A collaborative, supportive, and inclusive team environment.
  • An organisation that values growth, development, and continuous improvement.

Warrina Homes is proud to be a non-smoking workplace.

To be considered, simply click the 'apply' button, submitting your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role. Applications will be assessed on submission.

Don't miss the chance to join a growing, supportive team committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those we care for.
