What's the opportunity?

We're looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to support two of our growing businesses, PEF and ENS, delivering accurate reporting, compliance, and financial insights that drive smarter decisions.

This is a hands-on role where you'll partner closely with business leaders, manage financial operations, and work alongside the Group Financial Controller to shape the financial future of PEF and ENS.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the month-end close, including reconciliations, journals, and reporting.
  • Partner with leaders to turn financial data into actionable insights.
  • Support budgets, forecasts, and strategic planning.
  • Manage tax and compliance reporting (BAS, FBT, IAS, Payroll Tax).
  • Oversee and mentor offshore finance staff.
  • Monitor cash flow and deliver accurate reporting.
  • Champion process improvements and support ad-hoc projects.

What you'll bring

  • CA/CPA qualified (or currently studying) with 3+ years' finance/accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax compliance.
  • Advanced Excel and excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable.
  • Bonus points if you've worked with Dynamics 365, Business Central, or Power BI
