About the role

Join Supportr as a part-time Team Leader based in Brisbane, QLD. In this vital role, you will lead a team of dedicated support workers who provide essential services to the aged and disability community. Your strategic direction and operational expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and high-quality delivery of care to our clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise, coach and mentor a team of support workers to deliver exceptional service
  • Oversee the development and implementation of individual client care plans
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and internal policies
  • Manage staff rostering, timekeeping and payroll processes
  • Support work where required
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement change initiatives
  • Provide on-call support and respond to any urgent client or staff matters

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience (3+ years) in a similar team leadership role within the aged care or disability support sector
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage, motivate and develop a team of support workers
  • Experience with CRM and rostering programs such as Visual Care
  • In-depth knowledge of the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Strong understanding of NDIS framework, and disability legislation including the Disability Discrimination Act
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health or community services discipline
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Workers screening card
  • Blue card (WWWC)
