Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Contract Crane Operator. The Crane Operator will be responsible for performing lifting operations, operating heavy and lifting equipment, conducting inspections, and managing cranes. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, precision in maneuvering equipment, and effective communication with the team to ensure safe and efficient operations.

You will be operating our newly refurbished 100tonne Mobile Crane - this role will travel throughout New Zealand and will begin its release in the South Island.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Lifting Operations and Cranes
  • Experience with Heavy Equipment and Lifting Equipment
  • Skills in conducting equipment inspections
  • Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Certification or licensing for crane operation is a plus
  • Previous experience in commercial construction or related fields is beneficial
