What is the Role?

The K-6 Specialised Learning teacher will possess a deep and broad knowledge of current best practice in EAL/D, learning support, current issues in education and the legislative requirements associated with students with disability. This is a permanent, full time position starting in Term 1, 2026

Who will the successful applicant be?

  • Experienced in delivering evidence based learning intervention programmes.
  • Passionate and committed to inclusive learning practices including curriculum differentiation.
  • Postgraduate qualified in Special/Inclusive education and/or EAL/D
  • Experienced in working with students who are English language learners, including New Arrivals
  • Experienced in working with class teachers to plan for and teach students with additional learning needs including utilising the ESL Scales.
  • Experience in teaching NESA approved courses in Stages ES1-3
  • A team player
