Key Responsibilities:
roject Planning and Budgeting
· Develop detailed project schedules, including milestones and deliverables.
· Manage the budget throughout the construction phase.
· Create procurement plans for materials and subcontractors.
Team Leadership
· Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including site supervisors, subcontractors, and engineers.
· Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor team performance.
· Foster collaboration and communication among team members.
Site Management
· Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
· Address any construction delays or problems on site promptly.
· Oversee quality control procedures to maintain project standards.
Client Communication
· Maintain open communication with the client, keeping them informed about project status, potential changes, and any challenges.
· Manage client expectations and address concerns effectively.
Contract Management
· Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors.
· Monitor contract compliance and manage change orders.
Risk Management
· Identify potential risks throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies.
· Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Documentation and Reporting
· Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, and project logs.
· Prepare regular reports for clients and stakeholders detailing project status and financial performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and industry standards related to commercial construction, experience with Microsoft Project.
· Project Management Skills: Proven ability to plan, execute, and monitor complex construction projects within budget and timeline constraints.
· Leadership Abilities: Excellent leadership skills to manage and motivate a diverse team of construction professionals.
· Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
· Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve complex construction issues efficiently.
· Financial Acumen: Understanding of project budgeting and financial management principles.
Position Details:
· Full time.
· Contract.
· a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
· May need to work evenings and weekends to meet project needs.
· Attending meetings outside of regular work hours when required.
· Super 11.5%
· Annual Leave.

· Uniform Allowance.
· Training Allowance.
· Work Cover.
· Vehicle Allowance.
Remuneration:
· Range $125,000.00 to $180, Super dependent on skill set & experience.
Bonuses:
· Bonuses apply to this project and are at the discretion of JMT Builders and based on budgets & timelines.
· Any payable bonuses to be within 12 weeks of hand over of project.
