Are you an organised, friendly, and community-minded person who enjoys making a difference?

Mermaid Beach AEME Surf Life Saving Club is seeking a Club Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of our busy, vibrant club. This role offers flexibility – it can be full-time or part-time – and is perfect for someone who can work independently while being part of a passionate team dedicated to surf life saving and community service.

What you'll do:

  • Be the first point of contact for members and the public
  • Manage club administration, membership records, and patrol data
  • Provide administrative support to Club Officers and Committees
  • Maintain the Club's filing systems, website, social media, and noticeboards
  • Assist with events, courses, and carnivals
  • Handle sales of club merchandise and assist with fundraising initiatives
  • Keep information current and ensure smooth communication across the club

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Delivers outstanding customer service
  • Can work both independently and collaboratively
  • Is flexible and adaptable in a busy volunteer-based environment
  • Has good computer skills (Microsoft Office, website admin experience a bonus)
  • Ideally has knowledge of Surf Life Saving (or is willing to learn quickly)
  • Is able to obtain/hold a current Blue Card
  • Available to work Sundays during the season
