Candidate Essentials:

Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic, with proven expertise in diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of light vehicles.Must submit proof of relevant automotive qualifications, such as Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or its equivalent, recognized within Australia.Required documentation includes professional references, recent payslips, a valid passport, and a clean police record.

Core Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive diagnostics to identify faults and issues within light vehicles.Perform preventive maintenance and servicing to enhance vehicle reliability and longevity.Efficiently repair or replace defective components, ensuring vehicles are in optimal conditionUtilise state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately troubleshoot and fix issues.Provide clear and concise communication to customers about their vehicle's condition and maintenance needs.Keep up to date with the latest automotive technologies and best practices in light vehicle mechanics. Ensure adherence to all health and safety guidelines and automotive standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

Extensive experience and background in the role of a Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic, with a minimum of 5 years in the field.Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or a related qualification recognized in Australia.Proficiency in the use of modern diagnostic software and tools specific to light vehicle repairs and maintenance.Deep knowledge of light vehicle systems and components.Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details to a non-technical audience.Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of industry advancements.
