experienced Nitrogen Operatorsturnaround project. purging, blanketing, and leak testing

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate nitrogen pumping units for controlled nitrogen purging, blanketing, and leak testing.
  • Monitor and control flow rates, pressures, and temperatures per project specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and pre-start checks on nitrogen pumps and associated equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues.
  • Conduct nitrogen leak testing to ensure system integrity before startup.
  • Carry out nitrogen purging to remove oxygen, moisture, or hydrocarbons from pipelines and process systems.
  • Assist with system isolations and flange management (hydraulic torquing & tensioning).
What We're Looking For
  • Open Australian Driver's License (Required)
  • Nitrogen-related skills and certifications (Essential)
  • QGC Gas Test Atmospheres & QGC Permit Holder Training (Preferred)
  • Ability to lead a small team and delegate tasks
  • Physically fit & mobile to meet the role's demands
  • Strong safety culture and leadership skills
