Job Title: Loan Set Technician

The primary function of this role is to execute administrative tasks on behalf of the organization, representing it in accordance with established codes and employment agreements.

This position requires collaboration with the region's Operations Team Charter to foster a culture of accountability and teamwork, while delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Pick, pack, check, and receive all stock, including loan sets.
  • Process & dispatch loan set/kit returns, ensuring they are intact and ready for re-issue promptly.
  • Conduct quality inspections of returned materials/equipment, and accurately update their status in inventory systems.
  • Assist with stock rotation and removal of expired items as necessary.
  • Supervise products by batch/lot and serial number, ensuring all are individually tagged.
  • Identify discrepancies in bookings and ensure corrective procedures are followed to minimize risks.
  • Handle domestic and international shipping, communicating delivery details to relevant departments.
  • Monitor loan sets throughout dispatch and return to facilitate quick turnaround and availability for the operations team.
  • Support the customer service team with inquiries, ensuring accurate bookings and stock transactions via inventory management systems.
  • Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring timely completion of bookings to meet branch schedules and internal metrics.
  • Perform general warehouse duties as directed by the operations manager, working closely with sales staff to meet patient needs.
  • Maintain industry standards, adhere to health and safety guidelines, and uphold housekeeping standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate in warehousing and distribution.
  • Proven experience in logistics or distribution environments.
  • Experience with loan set operations.
  • Experience handling contaminated materials.
  • Knowledge of medical device industry processes and hospital CSSD procedures.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and RFID processes.
