Starting in early 2026, this role will be the first point of contact for our members, support the delivery of professional and networking events, and help ensure every interaction with ACS is a positive experience. It's a great opportunity for someone looking to build their career in administration, events, stakeholder management or customer engagement within a professional organisation.

This role is fixed term for 12 months with the opportunity to become permanent in the future.

What you'll do

  • Support the planning and coordination of events from start to finish
  • Be a friendly and helpful first point of contact for ACS members
  • Build strong member relationships through proactive communication
  • Maintain accurate records and databases
  • Collaborate with colleagues across ACS to continuously improve the member experience

What you'll bring

  • Experience or study background in business, administration, events, or customer service (including hospitality or retail)
  • A positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear, professional communication and confidence engaging with a variety of people
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with a proactive, solution-focused attitude
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage (but not essential)
