What are we looking for?

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and resourceful individual to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves building strong relationships with our existing members, cultivating new and potential members, coordinating member activities and events, and supporting business growth through effective communications and positive client experiences across our Recreational services.

This position would be ideal for a working parent, looking for school hours who is passionate about health and fitness, and making a difference to the community

The Membership Coordinator role involves:

  • managing and growing the SAVVY membership base, ensuring excellent service and support, and addressing membership and event-related issues promptly;
  • overseeing membership onboarding and converting enquiries to memberships;
  • boosting participation among existing members and identifying new opportunities;
  • supporting strategies to attract new members and increase event participation;
  • coordinating and executing events, ensuring smooth operations;
  • engaging with members through class participation and operational interactions;
  • collaborating with teams to promote services and integrate wellness initiatives;
  • analysing and reporting on membership and event metrics;
  • performing communications and social media activities, in line with our strategy and brand, with the support of the Marketing & Communications team;
  • maintaining a welcoming and safe recreation space.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • experience in membership management and event coordination;
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
  • proficiency in social media and content creation;
  • excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Candidates will possess a Current Working with Children Check, have received two doses of COVID-19 vaccination, have annual influenza vaccination, be willing to undertake a National Police History check and have valid Right to Work status in Australia.
