About the Role
Join ACS (Australian Computer Society) NSW and take the next step in your career. As a Member Services Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our member community — supporting enquiries, helping to deliver a diverse calendar of professional and networking events, and ensuring every interaction with ACS is a positive one.
This role is a fantastic opportunity if you already have some experience in customer service, administration, or events and are ready to expand your responsibilities and grow in a professional membership organisation. You'll gain exposure to stakeholder management, event delivery, and community engagement while building skills that will set you up for long-term success.
This role is fixed term for 12 months with the opportunity to become permanent in the future.
What you'll do
- Support the planning and delivery of events from start to finish
- Be the friendly first point of contact for our NSW members
- Build strong member relationships through proactive communication
- Keep records and databases up to date with accuracy and care
- Work with colleagues across ACS to continuously improve our member experience
What you'll bring
- Some experience in customer service (hospitality and retail), events, or administration
- Great organisational skills and a strong eye for detail
- Clear communication skills and confidence engaging with a wide range of people
- Ability to manage priorities and deadlines with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office; knowledge of CRM systems is a plus
