Support Worker Position – Oncology Experience Required (Melton VIC)

Care Connect Mel Pty Ltd is currently seeking support workers with demonstrated experience in to support one of our valued NDIS participants residing in Melton area.

Position Overview

  • Location: Melton
  • Hours: 5 hours per day, 7 days per week
  • Additional Shifts: Assistance in home
  • Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene
  • Provide complex health care support in line with client needs and care plans
  • Administer or assist with medication management
  • Support with mobility and transfer using assistive equipment (hoists, slide sheets, etc.)
  • Maintain clear and professional communication and documentation

Essential Requirements

  • Prior experience supporting clients with spinal cord injuries
  • Proficient in the use of mobility aids and transfer equipment.
  • Understanding of complex health care needs and risk mitigation.
  • First Aid & CPR (current).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Manual Handling Training.
  • Valid Driver's Licence (preferred).
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
