Cellar Door Sales – Casual Position

We're on the hunt for a passionate, people-focused team member to join our cellar door crew. At Hastwell & Lightfoot, we've been growing and making wine in McLaren Vale since 1988, and every guest who walks through our doors is welcomed like a friend of the family.

As part of our team, you'll be the face of our small-batch, estate-grown wines – sharing our story, guiding tastings, and creating memorable experiences that turn visitors into lifelong wine lovers.

What you'll be doing

  • Welcoming guests and offering an exceptional wine tasting experience
  • Sharing our rich history, philosophy, and estate story with authenticity
  • Growing our wine club membership and building customer relationships
  • Handling sales and customer service with professionalism and care
  • Supporting events, weddings, and special experiences at the estate

What we're looking for

  • A love of wine and genuine interest in learning more (cellar door experience an advantage, but training provided)
  • A warm, engaging personality with great communication skills
  • Confidence in sales and customer service
  • Reliability and flexibility to work day time shifts Friday–Sunday on a casual basis (approx. 4–12 hours per week)
  • Availability for additional hours at weddings, private events, and seasonal busy periods is appreciated
