Team:

The Salesforce Technology Implementation team partners with clients to enable digital transformation across student, staff, and service engagement journeys. Leveraging a Powered Enterprise methodology, the team integrates best practices, change management, and tailored enablement to deliver scalable, sustainable Salesforce solutions.

Within this capability, the Salesforce Solution Architect team plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering enterprise-grade solutions that enable organisations to realise the full value of the Salesforce platform.

Role:

As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you will lead solution definition and provide hands-on architectural direction for a Higher Education transformation program. You will work closely with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams to design end-to-end Salesforce solutions, document architecture, and ensure alignment to business priorities.

This role requires someone who can work independently, guide designers and developers, and drive the solution forward - not simply support it.

You will:

  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture and design across the program lifecycle.
  • Define and document solution artefacts including data models, integration patterns, user flows, and access/security design.
  • Provide hands-on guidance and review detailed designs from designers and developers.
  • Conduct solution workshops with business stakeholders to align platform capabilities with business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with performance, scalability, security, and maintainability standards.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and solution trade-offs, maintaining clarity and delivery momentum.
  • Support delivery across build, test, deployment, and transition to operations.

You will have:

  • Proven experience in Salesforce Solution Architecture across multi-cloud implementations.

  • Strong hands-on experience in:

  • Sales Cloud (lead & opportunity workflows)

  • Service Cloud (case management & OmniChannel)
  • Experience Cloud using OmniStudio (OmniScripts, DataRaptors, FlexCards, Integration Procedures)
  • Service Cloud Voice
  • Einstein Bots
  • Experience leading workshops, influencing decision-making, and guiding delivery teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive solution direction.
  • Highly Desirable: Experience with Salesforce Education Cloud or Higher Education programs.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect or System Architect are highly advantageous.
  • Australian Citizenship required
  • Baseline Clearance highly advantageous (NV1 preferred)
